Hey, all! I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for auto maintainance log apps for Android/Apple. I’m looking for something that includes a fuel and repair cost log and is capable of managing multiple vehicles. A “reminder” feature would be handy as well. I’ve been doing the old notebook log for all of my vehicles, but it would certainly be handy to get everything in one place, and on one screen.
So, how do the obsessive mechanics among us keep tabs on their chariots in the 21st century?

I use google docs to track mileage, cost, gas and parts/other costs. There are ways to integrate a spreadsheet into a google calendar, so you could try that route with calendar reminders set.
There could be a way to make it all more streamlined, but at the moment my brain is fried from work so I cant be more helpful. Eventually I could see if I could piece things together possibly....

One and only one for iOS worth having:

Note: the space between the words is important. There’s an “AutoCare” app and it sucks.
There is also an Auto Care Free version of the above but it’s basically a trial version; you can’t customize anything. Spend the few dollars and buy it.
It will:
back up to DropBox, iCloud
send fill ups to Fuelly via SMS
track multiple vehicles
calculate fuel economy in whatever format you want (L/100km, MPG etc)
calculate maintenance and fuel costs (since new, by month, averages, etc)
export data (PDF as far as I can tell)
let you create reminders (km or date/interval based) for maintenance
Seriously the best car maintenance app I’ve used, and I’ve been using car maintenance logs since I had a Palm Pilot.
